Basic Sciences and Humanities Department is a strong pillar in foregrounding the success and the aspirations of the institute. The intention of teaching Basic Sciences and Humanities courses to engineering students is to set a strong foundation of basic principles of various disciplines to such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computers, Electronics, Engineering Mechanics and Communication Skills in the mind of the learners, so that they carry on their education with up to date knowledge and training of basic engineering skills. The students come from various places and part of the society and the age of life transformation. This is the age where they can get the proper direction of the life, fix the aim and proceed towards achieving the goal. My department focuses on "Out Come base" Education. While learning they should develop their overall personality keeping it in mind Students Association "FABS" is formed every year. Which conducts various activities which help to develop the skills like cooperation, coordination, stage daring, communication skill, social awareness & Leadership. It also helps the departmental barriers.Department of Basic Science & Humanities takes utmost care in teaching basic sciences courses as prescribed by the curriculum of the Dr. Technological University, Lonere. Babasaheb Ambedkar We have fully developed laboratories of physics, Chemistry, Computer science and Communication Skills which helps students to learn and grasp the theoretical aspects of the courses emphatically. The teaching component includes lectures, tutorials and practicals. The methodology followed in the classroom teaching is based on application of innovative strategies, lectures, regular assignments and interaction between teachers and students.
