Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) :

About MESA :

MESA is Mechanical Engineering Students Association. Every mechanical engineering students from the second year at KBPCOES is a member of MESA. This association is mentored by faculty member of the mechanical engineering department. Students take upon many initiatives that prepare them to face the challenges of the future.

MESA takes active role in the institute events. Students along with faculties are head various technical competitions such as Technothon, Rally Car Design Challenge, CAD 4 MAD, Go Kart building, machine assembly etc. In addition to technical events, co-curricular and extracurricular activities are also organized by MESA all around the year. Functions such as, “Welcome function”, “Teacher’s day”, “Engineer’s Day”, “Late K A Gandhi Memorial Lecture”, “Cultural Day”, “Send off” of final year studen

MESA Objectives :

To Promote the interaction between academia and industry by organizing industrial visits, special lectures and facilities in industrial training.

Promoting the interests of students in various technical areas pertaining to mechanical engineering.

To bring about the technical development of students by organizing seminars, workshops and other activities.

Procedure of selection :

Election (Voters: Class SE,TE & BE)

First preference for selection of candidate by all students without election.

A student can apply for only one post.

Declaration of tentative dates for Election and interview.

Apply on plain paper for each post.
